Boracay; A cosy living room at
Astoria Plaza
Its first hotel, Astoria
Plaza, features contemporary
interiors by Atelier Almario
with the building designed by
renowned architecture firm,
Gensler & Associates. This
modern take on business chic,
located at the heart of Ortigas,
continues to set the standard
for urban living by combining
first-class residential suites
with a deluxe hotel.
Its second city hotel is
located in Makati’s bustling
business district. Astoria Green-
belt sets a comfortable and
whimsical atmosphere. The soft
lighting and embellished shelves
with curated mementos spell a
luxurious touch not to miss.
Resting on famed white
sand beaches, Astoria Boracay
greets guests with welcoming
bright hues in Station 1. Blue
waters and lush greenery mesh
with the resorts’ serene palette.
On the other hand, Astoria
Current in Station 3 tells a story
about colours in its individually
styled rooms. “It’s all about the
pulsating energy of a beach
party,” explain the Almarios.
Nestled in Puerto Princesa
is an eco-friendly resort perfect
for idyllic retreats away from the
city. Astoria Palawan is sur-
rounded by a peaceful enclave
of emerald forests. “The resort’s
DNA is outback chic; it’s all
about rugged ecoadventure. We
introduced the bright colours of
the sea and coral into the room,
using distressed and repurposed
wood for a rustic feel.”
An exclusive hideaway ly-
ing on the shore of Baclayon,
Astoria Bohol tells a story of its
own. Inspired by the rich Spanish-
Filipino heritage of the island, the
ventanilla details and machuca
tiles allow guests to experience a
touch of old world elegance.
By designing properties that
have individual stories to tell,
Atelier Almario and Gallego & As-
sociates have brought the names
under the Astoria brand to life. Q
