Weight 25 –95 kg.


Habitat and Behaviour The Wild Goat occupies mountainous terrain,
rugged country in the central desert, sea cliffs and deciduous forests
in the north of Iran. Goats both graze and browse readily. Herds
usually number 5–25 animals, but this varies from area to area and
season to season. Females and their young associate in nursery herds.
