teaching staff are innovative, hard-working and passionate
about education. Our programmes aim to extend the reach of
student’s learning beyond the confines of the classroom. We
focus on helping students connect what they have learned
to the real world. We also strive to cultivate open-minded
people who will not only thrive in the larger world but will
have a positive influence in the future.
I enjoy taking complex ideas and skills and breaking them
down into activities that are accessible and understandable. I
also relish those moments when everything starts falling into
place and making sense to students. Another enjoyable aspect
is fostering a sense of wonder or curiosity about something

A WORD FROM THE SCHOOL
CIS is an IB world school with
over 3,000 students from more than
80 nationalities enrolled across two
campuses: Lakeside in the west (ages
2 to 18) and Tanjong Katong in the east
(ages 2 to 12). The highly experienced
teachers are dedicated to equip
students with essential skills that best
prepare them to thrive and succeed in a
world where change is the norm, while
teaching them to be strong thinkers
and effective doers. To date, over
150 universities globally have offered
places to CIS graduates.WHAT’S NEW?
In August 2018, the school is
launching a French-English bilingual
programme for students in Grades 1
and 2. It will be similar to the Chinese-
English bilingual programme, with two
teachers per class (one French speaker
and one English speaker) and aligned
to the IB PYP programme.
