A WORD FROM
THE SCHOOL
Founded over 45 years
ago and spread over a 12-acre
campus, DCIS boasts a vibrant
and close-knit community
where everyone is made to
feel welcome. The school offers
a personalised education for
ages 3 to 18 in an inclusive
and international environment.
Students learn the English
National Curriculum (IGCSE)
and thereafter study the IB
Diploma Programme. Through
the EAL programme (English
as an additional language), the
school accepts students with
beginner and intermediate
English proficiencies. There
is also a team of specialist
educators on hand to provide
a supportive education for
children with additional
learning needs.

WHAT’S NEW?
DCIS has introduced the
International Baccalaureate
Diploma Programme (IBDP). At
the time of publication, the first
cohort of Sixth Form students
were halfway through the
course. DCIS chose the IBDP
as it offers an academically
and personally challenging
experience.

A family’s perspective
Parents: Le ah and Richard Earl
Children: Alfie (10) and Annelie (6)

We chose DCIS for its welcoming atmosphere that we
experienced when we first visited the school. We love the sense
of community and the school’s open space and grounds. The
school is really good at integrating new children; our kids settled
in very quickly and enjoy going to school. Alfie loves the sporting
opportunities and representing the school at various events, and is
proud to be house captain. Annelie loves all her teachers and enjoys
her English challenge ECA (extracurricular activity). It also makes
her day to be greeted by the Headmaster in the morning!
We love that the school has a multicultural, inclusive and happy
environment where the kids are thriving. There are also many great
family events; we love the family sports day and movie night.
