RUNNING ROUTES
Where to run in
Singapore? Our panel
members share their
favourite routes.
I’ve really gotten into running lately and have
completed several half marathons with a group of
girlfriends. Most recently, we decided to register
for a few races outside of Singapore, including the
events in Angkor Wat and Borneo. It’s a great excuse
to travel! I’ve found that signing up for a race with a
few friends helps to keep you on a more consistent
training schedule and working towards a goal. – Dana
I’m more of a fast walker than a
runner. However, there are a few
running clubs that people can join in
Singapore. – Linda
My standard running route is up
Bukit Timah Road, along Scotts Road
and down to Orchard. Alternatively, I
run around Fort Canning or around
Marina Bay Sands, to the barrage and
through Gardens by the Bay (great for
the view). The Botanic Gardens is nice,
but very hot! – Lisa
When I’m in the mood for a run, I
head out across the street to Bukit
Batok Nature Reserve. It has several
different trails to choose from, so I
can adapt my run by time or distance.
