Jamie’s Italian
For hearty, family-friendly Italian eats, you won’t
go wrong with Jamie’s Italian. The restaurant’s
popular VivoCity location features a spacious
terrace overlooking the harbour, while the Forum
outlet boasts a buzzy, modern dining space.
Start with a healthy salad to share; the all-
new Jamie’s Big Five Salad ($24.95) is a medley
of quinoa, fennel, peas, crunchy red chicory,
grapes, radish and plenty of herbs, tossed in
a refreshing lemon olive oil dressing. Then,
tuck into a warm bowl of chicken casarecce
($26.95), exclusively available at VivoCity.
This comforting dish consists of homemade
pasta served with braised chicken thigh
in a creamy sauce, alongside bacon, leeks,
roasted mushrooms and herbs. Pizza lovers at
VivoCity can also look forward to a variety of
hand-stretched options, including the White
Rocket ($24.95), a béchamel-based dish
with mascarpone, mozzarella, fresh chilli and
lemon-dressed rocket. Save some space for a
sweet treat or two; the Mighty Mess sundae
($13.95) – vanilla and strawberry yoghurt
gelato, smashed meringue, strawberry compote
and baby basil – is a popular pick but if you
prefer something lighter, get the yoghurt panna
cotta ($13.95), which features blackberry and
limoncello compote, crunchy spiced crumble
and lemon zest.
Psst! Visiting the Forum outlet? Try the newly
added orecchiette puttanesca ($26.95), a fragrant
mix of pasta, garlic, anchovies, fresh chilli,
cherry tomatoes, Gaeta olives, parmesan and
basil. The prawn risotto ($27.95), meanwhile. is
prepared with white wine and juicy pan-fried
prawns and is another hot favourite.
