There are a number of fantastic coffee shops
in Antwerp — but one that’s recommended
to me time and time again is Normo, which
serves in-house roasted beans directly
sourced from farmers.
When I visit to take photos of the rustic,
cosy interior, I meet Normo’s owner, Jens,
(right) and his fellow barista, Timo (left)
— hip coffee connoisseurs without thez
hipster attitude. The duo are more than
happy to discuss the different ways of
roasting, brewing and drinking coffee.
“We just like a laid-back atmosphere and
the opportunity to drink great coffee with
great people every day,” explains Jens.
