Grootberg Lodge is in the heart of Damaraland, owned by the local #Khoadi//Hoas conservancy.
The Conservancy places particular emphasis on conservation and reducing human wildlife
confl ict. On the western border of the Etosha National Park lies the Hobatere Lodge, situated in
a concession area of 8,808 ha which is home to a wide selection of game, including lions, elephant,
giraffe, eland, and Hartmann’s zebra
