Fiit (fiit.tv) is a smartphone app that has
been described as “Netflixfor workouts”.
It aimsto replaceyour gym membership
with video-based classes andcourses
frontedby expert trainers, soyou can
engage in a vigorousworkout from the
comfort ofyour home.

Just like a fitness DVD?
Not quite. Althoughyou can draw
parallels with the many fitness videos and
Ds that have
ergedover the
st three decades
so, Fiit has
ccessfully upped
e stakes. It’s not
mply a matter of
owing the
erciseregime set
someone like
e Fonda, Davina
Call, JoeWicks or
e scores of other
ebrities who have
t a few stone and
nt to share their
crets. Fiit aimsto
be social and it also
keeps a closeeye on
your progress.

So how do I getstarted?
When you open the Fiit appfor the first
time, you tell it your fitness level – from
entryto advanced – then indicate your
goal, whether it’s to lose weight, get
stronger, gain better flexibility and
balance or improve your overall fitness.
You can thenstart a 14-day personalised
plan made up of thrice-weekly 25- and
40-minuteworkouts. Alternatively,you
can pick one of the75 classes that best
suit your goal and level.

How much do theycost?
The 14-day plans are free and there are
four intotal, covering cardioworkouts,
strength and muscle,rebalance and one
that involves classes from the previous

three. Each of these can berepeated,
but ifyou want to take thingsto the next
level, you’ll have to buy a premium
subscription. Depending on whether
you’re payingfor a month, a quarter or
a year, it’llcost between £10 and £20 per
month – but this is where things become
interesting.

What’s the benefit of paying?
Aside from getting a personalised
training plan withrecipes and nutritional

advice aswell as access to more than
350 on-demandworkouts, the premium
tier tracksyour health. It does thisby
givingyou a device –worth £65,
