The option to configure

is greyed out andit says
protection is switched off, but
I can’t turn it on. MyWindows

To configure System
Restore, open the Settings
app (Windows+i), type
system restorein the
search box andclick ‘Create
a restore point’ in the search
suggestions. This opens the
SystemProperties window on
the SystemProtection tab.
Select the WindowsC:
drive andclick the Configure
button. Select ‘Turn on system
protection’ anddrag the Max Usage
slider to give it somedisk space to work

How do I make HPSupport
Assistant work on mynew laptop
running Windows10? I’ve tried
uninstalling andreinstalling it several
times, but all I get when I try to open
it is a white screen. Any help or advice
wouldbe greatly appreciated.

Wetried HPSupport Assistant on
a Windows10 PCandit worked
fine, so it’s not a Windows10 issue.
Your problem could be caused by an
old or outdated version of the
Support Assistant, so try downloading
the latest version frombit.ly/hpsa484.
Uninstall the old version of HP
Assistant fromSettings or Control

runperfectly well without it. You don’t
needit to download drivers, tune up
the PC, check storage, run
troubleshooters orany of the other
basic tasks it performs. It just makes
it a bit easier.

drive or partiti on, type

Over the last couple of weeks,
whenever I start mycomputer with
the modem switched on, I get the MSN
homepage popping up with Chrome
with no prompting fromme.I have tried
altering the Chromesettings but
nothing seems to get rid of it. Is there
