globe lets you see how temperatures
have change d on Earth over the past
century. Select a decade andthe tool
will compar e the temperature for that
10-year period with the average for
1951 to 1980, before spinning the globe
to see the anomalies in di fferen t parts
of the world. Red, yellow and orange
spikes show warmer than average
temperatures, whil e bluesand purples
indic ate cooler averages. Take a deep

it’s rather worrying.

sightings aroundthe world, as reported
