foodie destination is: Somerset
She’s the matriarch of the hipster food scene with her east London
restaurant, Rochelle Canteen. Now the chef Margot Henderson
(above left) is heading to Somerset, the fashion set’s favourite
county, for her first pub with rooms. Opening this November in
Batcombe, a 15-minute drive from Bruton (Stella McCartney and
Phoebe Philo live in the area), the Three Horseshoes is already the

The original OTT performance artist, Josephine
Baker, is set to return, with the singer Janelle Monáe
starring in a TV show, De La Resistance, about her
secret life as a spy. Baker took Paris by storm in the
1920s with her risqué burlesque cabaret and became
a muse to Cocteau and Colette. Her distinct fashion
style has been referenced by Kerry Washington,
Beyoncé and Yara Shahidi. The show is being made
by A24, which brought us Moonlight and Everything
Everywhere All at Once — so expect the unexpected.Heating up
