The London-born singer-songwriter is walking on air. Levitating, her
punchy dancefloor filler, was the world’s fifth most-streamed track
of last year. Lipa, 26, bagged another Brit award in February, adding
to the two she picked up last year. She is midway through the
much-delayed tour planned to push the album Future Nostalgia
before Covid intervened. After nearly 30 American shows, she is
performing in Europe before heading to South America, Australia
and New Zealand. Such heavy touring explains why our music
expert believes Lipa’s bank balance has had such a golden year. In
February she launched Service95, a lifestyle platform along the lines
of Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop, to turn a profit from her longstanding
habit of “compulsive” list-making of the best places to eat or stay.
With a second album expected soon, Lipa should easily now be
worth £60 million. 2021: £36m, 22=

Kane, 28, has scored his own museum
exhibition to honour his exploits as
England football captain and Tottenham
Hotspur’s star striker. The Museum of
London show — which opened yesterday
and runs until December — displays
unseen memorabilia such as his debut
England shirt, in which he scored against
Lithuania after 79 seconds on the pitch.
The free exhibition is called Harry Kane:
I Want to Play Football — his own words in
a childish hand seen alongside family
photos. Visitors can chart his rise from a
football-mad six-year-old to the prolific
goalscorer who is likely to take the
England record before he turns 30. He
is now level with Sir Bobby Charlton on
49 and only a few finishes away from
Wayne Rooney’s 53.

Kane scored 16 goals in 16 appearances
for England in 2021, his best year yet. But
his loyalty to Tottenham Hotspur has not
rewarded him with a single piece of
silverware since his club debut in 2011. He
insists there’s still hope. But meanwhile,
Kane will be hoping to lift the World Cup
for his country in Qatar later this year.
He earns about £200,000 a week (£10.4
million a year) at Tottenham Hotspur and
endorsement income, notably from Nike,
has brought a £9 million rise in a year.
The clean-living role model, a father of
three married to his childhood sweetheart,
Katie Goodland, 29, above, said he was
delighted that the exhibition would allow
him to show the next generation “how far
you can go with hard work, dedication
and self-belief”. 2021: £33m, 26=
