As an engineering student, what made
you decide to model?Well, I always used to do fashion shows,
just around campus. And before I came
to college I was a year-round athlete.PC
When I came to college, I had the
opportunity to play sports, but I hurt
myself. So I chose not to do it because I
had an academic scholarship. So I
kinda regret that, because sports were
all I played. But when I started doing this
modeling—you know, I love art—so it’s
the whole art thing behind it for me. I
love to paint. I love to draw. So when I
started doing it I saw the beauty and art
in it and the vision of what I wanted to do.
I just hadn’t reached there yet. I hadn’t
met the right photographers and all that.
But I had a vision that I wanted. And so
when I started to do this, I couldn’t give
up on it because I had already given up
on my sports. So I wanted to see how far I
could take this. But I’m not going to give
up on my school either, because
regardless of how modeling goes, I’ll
always have my career to fall back on.
