View from Pen
Yr Ole Wen
“With conditions looking
favourable, I made the short drive
from Anglesey to the Ogwen Valley
and made my way to the summit
of Pen Yr Ole Wen via the east
ridge. Once on the summit, I set
up my tent and wandered down
the south side in search of some
compositions. This view across
the valley to Cwm Idwal, the
Glyderau and Snowdon is one of
my favourites and on this evening,
was the best I have ever seen it.
After capturing several images,
I sat down to enjoy watching the
last of the sunlight fade from these
magnificent peaks of Snowdonia.”
