T
he BMW Art Car project is where
renowned artists like Andy Warhol are
cherry-picked to turn an automobile
into a canvas. Not commissioned by BMW,
but inspired perhaps by a leaf out of the same
book, Berlin sculptor and painter Thomas
Scheibitz’s work is instead an independent
experiment in form and colour, with the
resulting automobile sculpture first presented to
the public at his Berlin studio.
