ast month I mentioned
that I thought Spring
had arrived, well Spring
has been and gone and so it
would seem has Summer... I
really hope that by the time
this issue reaches the shops
you will be able to sit outside
enjoying the sunshine whilst
reading this latest issue!
This month we have some
very exciting news from
Valom, especially if you like
classic British aircraft. Valom
have announced a 1/72 scale
DH 91 Albatross, perhaps one
of the most attractive 4 engine
prop-liners ever made?!

is not featured and you would

BRENGUN

B

rengun has
announced an
interesting
selection of new
releases this month.
First up in 1/144
scale we have a re-release of the Me 163, this
time with markings for captured examples.
Also in 1/144 scale, we have a new kit of the
German V2 rocket. In 1/72 we have the training
version of the rocket powered Kamikaze aircraft
the Yokosuka Ohka MXY7-K1 and the ZLIN Z-50
has been re-released this time with markings
for worldwide users. Last but by no means least
in 1/48 scale the previously released Priboy
missile has been released as the Chelomey
16KhA “FLYING TARGET” complete
with some very colourful markings.

Comets

KOVOZÁVODY PROSTEJOV (KP)

W

e have been expecting the new
1/72 scale DH 88 Comets to
be an AZ release, but we now
know that they will be released under

the KP brand. We have seen images of
some test build for G-ACSS Grosvenor
House, strangely the registration
letters are shown as being silver, as
opposed to white. Hopefully this will
be resolved before the kit is released
unless KP know something I don’t?

Longest Day

EDUARD

M

ay saw the first
release of the
all-new 1/72 scale
MiG 21, family, I might just
have to treat myself to one!
June will see the release of
the 1/72 scale Spitfire Mk.IX
in a Limited Edition boxing
entitled ‘The Longest Day’,
I don’t know if my local
Spitfire ML407 (the Grace

Spitfire) will be one of the
options included? I can only
hope, as it is combat veteran
of D Day with confirmed
kills. Also released as a
Limited Edition in 1/48 scale
will be the Typhoon Mk.Ib.
The 1/48 scale Fw 190A-3 will
be reissued as a ProfiPack
edition and last but not
least the AMK 1/48 scale

L-29 Delfin will be released
as a Weekend edition.
As well as the kits, there
are lots of photo-etch and
Brassin sets to tempt as
well. The sets of guided
missiles and precision attack
munitions in particular
are little kits in their own
right and rather fun to
assemble! http://www.Eduard.com

Albatross!

VALOM

W

ell, who would have ever thought we
would see an injection moulded 1/72
scale DH.91 Albatross?! This will be
quite a nice sized model of this rather beautiful
4 engine passenger plane. Only seven, including
the prototypes were ever made and Valom will
be releasing two boxings, one with pre war civil
markings and one with wartime camouflage.
