his is a new company
from Kailua Hawaii, and
this is their debut figure
and a rather fun one it is too.
This 1/32 scale multi-part resin
figure, mastered by Mike Good,
is of Sir Percy from the 1965
film Those Magnificent Men
in Their Flying Machines. The
character of Sir Percy Ware-
Armitage was played in the film
by the English comedian and
character actor Terry-Thomas.
The figure captures the actor’s
face and pose wonderfully well
and even has the distinctive gap
between the actor’s front teeth.1/32 SCALE

The instructions list the colours by name
for the various items of dress and there
are three colour images of the assembled
and painted figure to guide you. Included
on the instruction sheet is a ”biography” of
Sir Percy, with a selection of lines from the
film which illustrate his character as a bit
of a ”cad and bounder”!CONCLUSION
This figure is “rather good” with little
in the way of clean up required. I do
hope it is the first of a range based on
characters from the film, as we really
need Sir Percy’s servant Courtney
(Eric Sykes.) This figure can be

his month SAC has released
six new white metal
undercarriage sets in all
the major scales including a set
for the Airfix 1/72 scale B-25 which
also includes a number of the kit
parts like the cockpit floor and
instrument panel in white metal
to act as a nose weight very useful.
Preparation is really simple just a
few minutes work with a jewellers
file to remove any trace of flash
from the edge of the castings and
then attach with super glue or
epoxy to replace the kit parts.1/32 SCALE

hese seats come with the
pilot moulded in, which is
a really good idea. I miss
the days when pilot figures came
as standard, and aftermarket
pilots don’t always fit very well,
sometimes requiring a little
surgery to get them in. These
sets offer a drop-in replacement
for the kit part and all is needed is
a steady hand to paint the detail.1/48 SCALE
