I think that it is fair to say

that if you own an airbrush, a

spray booth is pretty much an

essential! Over the years’ things

that have been unprotected in my

workshop have been covered in a

layer of overspray dust, it is clear

that, I certainly, and I think most

modellers do not quite realise just

how much paint is released into the

room during an airbrush session!

This spray booth is portable,

having a carry handle on the top,

and is when folded about the

size of a briefcase. On the front

there is one half which lifts and

the other folds down to form a

spray area, with enclosed sides.

This spray booth as well as

having enclosed sides to minimise

overspray also has an extractor

fan and filter. The vapour is taken

through the filter to a hose which

can be placed through an open

window as you would with a tumble

drier. The hose is extendable and

reaches to about 2m. Inside the

booth there is a light which is really

helpful as the booth by its nature

forms an enclosed space. The

extractor fan does make

a bit of noise but this is

within acceptable levels

and hopefully you will not

be spraying for too long

at one time! Inside the

spray booth you can place

the turntable which comes

with it, which really helps

to get even coverage

when you are spraying!
