Ukrainian

manufacturer

Foxbot cover another

aircraft from the

Ukrainian Air Force,

finished in a digital

grey camouflage. We

have already had sheets

covering the Sukhoi Su-24

Fencer, Su-25 Frogfoot,

and Su-27 Flanker, as

well as the Mig-29C in 1/72

scale, and now it is the turn

of the two-seat Mig 29UB.

The second sheet supplies

a complete set of stencils for a

1/48 scale P-38 Lightning, and

as a small bonus you also get a

number jungle in both yellow and

black to enable you to reproduce

any tail serial number.

CONCLUSION

All Foxbot sheets are

goes – which is needed

as the Mig-29 sheet has

over 200 decals! Colour

references are supplied

for three leading brands,

Humbrol, Tamiya, and Akan,

as well as FS numbers.

T

his month

Decales Global

has supplied

two sheets for the

Airbus A310, which

was first flown over 35

years ago. Production

started in 1983 and

ceased in 1998, with

255 aircraft produced.

Now only 47 are still in

use today by airlines,

with a further 43 in

private or government

operation.

The first airline

covered in these sheets,

Air Portugal, was one

of the earliest users of

the type, receiving its

first aircraft in 1988

and retiring their fleet

in 1998. The second

airline covered is SATA

International, now known as

Azores Airlines, which operated

an A-310 in the late 1990s.

One thing to note is that the

decals in this sheet come with

an overall carrier film, so you

need to trim the decals close

to the printed image before

applying them to your model.

Series Espanolas Decals

M

aking a change from

Hornets, the latest

1/32 scale sheet from

this Spanish company supplies

markings for two Eurofighters

at the 2016 Tiger Meet. One is

in overall grey with just a black

cartoon tiger head on the tail.

But the second option makes

up for this lack of colour with

some beautiful full-colour tail

art that is among the best I

have ever seen in decal form,

and includes tiger stripes on

the fuel tank. All of the text is

in Spanish, but using Google

Translate it is quite easy to

understand what they say, as the

colour notations use FS colours
