Norwegian/

Widerøe Link
Norwegian and Widerøe have signed an
interline agreement. The tie-up, which
takes effect in March, sees both operators
cross-selling on all the latter’s Public
Service Obligation routes across Norway,
along with Norwegian’s entire domestic
network.
The partnership is in addition to
Widerøe’s existing arrangement with SAS
Scandinavian Airlines and is intended to
improve ight availability in the country’s
more remote regions.
In other news, Norwegian set a new
record for the fastest ever transatlantic ight

Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
Flight DY7014 from New York JFK to
London Gatwick on January 15 completed
the sector in 5hrs 13mins – beating the
previous record by three minutes.
