In this section, the dorsal funiculus still shows some myelination gliosis, indi-
cating that this level of the spinal cord is more immature than rostral levels.
The lateral funiculus has a very sparse population of proliferating glia through-
out, and the border of the lateral corticospinal tract is not visible. Refer to the
matching myelin stained section for the approximate locations of the lateral
reticulospinal, vestibulospinal, intraspinal, and spinocephalic tracts.
