Conservation education


As we have seen, one of the recommendations of the PHVA was for improved conser-
vation education. This idea was taken up by the BFP and we have been running a con-
servation education programme in the villages and schools of Budongo sub-county for
the past five years. One of our existing staff, senior field assistant Zephyr Kiwede,
together with a senior teacher at the local Primary School at Nyabyeya, have conducted
this programme, which visits schools and villages once a week, on Wednesdays and
