The staff
We have three main categories of staff: field assistants who work in the forest collecting data (Fig. F.2),
domestic staff who work around camp, and transect cutters who initially cut and then maintain our
system of trails in the forest. In recent years we have also had snare removers and education officers.
Since everything depends on the staff, it is appropriate to list them; their work is very much
appreciated by all who have ever come to Budongo to do research or take part in the Project in any way.
