went ahead with the landing

gear bays and intake ducts. One

thing that bothered me was that

I had to install the front landing

gear very early in the build. This

would surely get in the way later.

Also it is important that tyou

do not forget to add enough weight

in the nose before joining the

two fuselage halves together!

I assembled the complete

intake duct that go all the way to

the engine compressor blades. The

interior was painted with AK699

Titanium, then washed with

AK2040 Exhaust Wash. The surface

detail on the fuselage was just

exquisite, with fine rivets, panel

lines, and a very smooth surface,

and once the landing gear bays

were installed, it was just a matter

of putting the halves together,

did you remember the weight?

Aside from the usual small

gaps, the kit had a major fit issue

where the joint of the intake

trunks meets the main fuselage,

and required an extraordinary

amount of work to get a perfect

finish. I attempted to fit the parts
