From assorted light blue batiks, cut: - 92—3^1 ⁄ 2 " squares
From assorted cream batiks, cut: - 24—6^7 ⁄ 8 " squares, cutting each
in half diagonally for 48 large
triangles total
From assorted medium blue
batiks, cut: - 14—3^1 ⁄ 2 × 91 ⁄ 2 " rectangles
- 48—3^1 ⁄ 2 × 61 ⁄ 2 " rectangles
- 18—3^1 ⁄ 2 " squares
From blue batik No. 1, cut: - 10—3^1 ⁄ 2 " squares

Assemble Blocks
Measurements include^1 ⁄ 4 " seam
allowances. Sew with right sides
together unless otherwise stated.
Press seams in directions indicated
by arrows on diagrams. If no
direction is specified, press seam
toward darker fabric.
- Gather eight matching beige
batik small triangles, five assorted
light blue batik 3^1 ⁄ 2 " squares, four
assorted cream batik large triangles,
and four assorted medium blue batik
