There are six different combinations,

each with a girl’s name. For example,

the Fran pack has 5" squares, 21/2"

squares, and 21/2" strips, while the

Ellie pack has 10" squares, 11/2" strips,

and bonus quarters. The fabrics in

each kit are from a combination

of top-of-the-line manufacturers,

including Andover, Anthology, Dear

Stella, Henry Glass, Hoffman, Michael

Miller, Moda, Robert Kaufman,

Studio E, Timeless Treasures, and

Windham. “We don’t buy a huge

quantity of fabrics, so when they’re

gone, they’re gone,” Dot says. “I like

to keep things fresh and new.”

Every Pineapple Pack can be

used to create multiple projects and

comes with a project sheet selected

by the customer. The projects,

designed by a creative team especially

for Pineapple Fabrics, include quilts,

bags, aprons, pillows, table runners,

and even a cat toy. “Our customers’

creativity gets to shine through in

the way they lay out their fabrics,”

Dot says. “No two projects are alike,

unless you want them to be.”

Dot and Rick didn’t start out

in the quilting industry. Their

connection came when they took
