Hunkered down in the garage, clock hands ticking past
midnight, the radio gently conveying the words of the over-
night disc jockey from your local rock station; you’re lost in
your work, exactly where you’re meant to be. And Wayne’s
versions of these ephemeral moments of escape were as
technically involved as one could be while working on a
machine. He sourced. He fabricated. He welded. He built.

Expecting nothing but a good time and some
excellent home builds, Wayne ended up with
hands on something else: show gold.
