Strip the wires using the 1.6mm diameter setting
on your wire stripper.

Cut the wires where they just about meet the fender. The
’04 Triumph has a splice in this area of the wiring, which
you can feel by squeezing the wires until there’s a bump.
This splice splits the ground wires into three: left turn
signal, right turn signal, and taillight. All are black.

Connect the new wires from the taillight and turn signals
to the wires from the bike using bullet connectors.

Crimp the bullet connectors to ensure a solid connection
using your wire cutters or a crimping tool.

The fender eliminator kit and lights work like a charm,
and the Bonnie looks all the tighter and more retro
because of it. Which way to Ace Café? GB
