LANDROVER MONTHLY 153

DISCOVERY3 / 4
2004 to 2017
THEYLOOK identicalat
fi rst glance, but under the

are pretty bulletproof.
No rust issues. Hugely
capacious andversatile
familycars, capable of
seating seven. They have
won countless awardsfor
best tow car and look as
stylish asever. Gaining in
popularity with enthusiasts
now Defenders aregetting
so expensive.

THE FIFTH-GENERATION
Discovery doesn't get a
number after its name, but
there's no mistaking what
it is with itsstriking new

capable, on- andoff-road,
than anyof its predecessors
as well as more economical
to run thanks inpart to the
new JLR Ingeniumseries of
engines. We have no doubt
that it willsoon be winninga
lot of awardsfor the best tow
car, just like its predecessors.

BUYER’S TIP:Still arguably
the most versatile Land
