GOODYEAR
WRANGLERAT/SA
Another great OEtyre, but
in thiscase, the Goodyear
WranglerAT/SA offers extra
punctureresistance thanks
to a la yer of DupontKevlar.
Although that maysound
like a marketing blurb, truth
be told, theKevlar belt does
in fact increase the tyre’s
off-road punctureresistance,
withoutcompromising
on-road fuel economy and
comfort. However, in most
cases, theAT/SA is still a
light-dutytyre in terms of
ultimate rupture strength and
off-road durability.

PATRICK CRUYWAGEN
(EDITOR LRM):“I have been
running these tyres for over
two years now and theystill
look brand new despite all
my kerb-hopping antics. I
have done moreoff-roading
miles than most in that time
while also piling on thetar
road miles.
This is a true all-roundtyre,
it deliversoff-road and on the
tar. The WranglerAT/SA is
without a doubt oneof the
toughest AT tyres available.”

GOODYEAR
EFFICIENTGRIP
STEVE MILLER (LRM AD
MANAGER): “Icurrently have
these fi tted to my Discovery
3 and have done justover
30,000 miles on them. Best
of all there’s plenty of life left
in them. That’s not bad if one
considers theweight of a
Dicovery 3, plus itsreputation
for wearing through rubber.
“Why thistyre?” I can hear
you say. Well, whenI
previously purchasedmy
Discovery 1 afew years back it
had awful tyres on. Infact,
theywere dangerous. I usedto
drift around damproundabouts
at relatively low speeds.So I
fi tted Goodyear Effi cientGrips
and they immediately
transformedmy driving
experience.
I did 50,000 miles on those
tyres be fore eventually selling
the vehicle on. Iwould beover
the moon if I manageto ge t
the same mileage outof the
set currently onmy D3.”
