Reflectingover our ever-gr owing success within
the LandRover world, ExmoorTrim launched the
new retail-outlet and showroom at a specialevent
which attracted specially invited visitors and Land
Roverfans from around theworld.
The ribbon on the new facilitywas cut by Lew and
Rita Gostling whose son, Julian chairmanof Exmoor
Trim has taken the firm from being a small
single-operator business to a firm employing more
than 55 staff.
Juliancommented: “Our skilled staff
understand exactlywhat isrequired and
ensure that all our specialist LandRover seats and
hoods are made with care and attention to detail.”
Visitors to the showroom now have the chance to
study the heritage that has allowed ExmoorTrim to
build a unique business alongside the LandRover
marque.
As an exhibitoryou will be a viewer through time,
starting with Julian’s grandfather whoworked at
LandRover during thefour-wheel-drive
vehicle builder’svery earlyyears.
Next itfollows the lengthy period in which Julian’s
father,Lew, also worked at LandRover’s famous
Solihull plant - and includes original drawings from
this time andeven features a number one
pre-productiongearbox!A spokesmanforthe company said: “Now our
customers and visitors can see, first-hand,
the huge range of products manufactured
by ExmoorTrim - from itemsforthe Series I
range, to hundredsof products madeforthe
Defender range, along with our exciting new
projects.“Visitors and LandRover fans can also pick
up everything from a new ExmoorTrim
t-shirt orkeyring, right through to an entirely
newvehicle interior manufacturedby staff
at our Williton HQ.Various LandRovers are
on display showing just how muchwe are
able to make here at our factory and how
we are able to innovate using our in-depth
and historic knowledgeof thesevery special
