WHEN SHAUN GOT IT
After most 4WD Action trips – the 80 and Dirty 30 needed a fair
bit of TLC – so Shaun needed a 4WD that he can use for towing
his big boat and remote trips in between the shoots. The
original plan for the 79 was to keep it in mint condition – of
course Shaun couldn’t himself and soon built for tough tracks
and had it out on them!
INSANE TRANSFORMATION
Shaun’s first setup on the 79 was actually the old big canopy
from the Dirty 30 – he had it resprayed and fitted out for big
trips and through it on the back of the Cruiser.
What a lot of people don’t tell you about 79 Series is they
handle like pigs with a big canopy on the back. After a sketchy
run to Cape York and back, Shaun decided to move it on and
build the 79 the way they should have from the start.
