ake Duncan is the
kind of bloke who
lives and breathes
4WDing... and the list
of previous 4WDs that
he’s owned attests to that. “I’ve
owned a Shorty Mav, a MK
Triton, a Lux and most recently a
105 ‘Cruiser,” Jake tells us.
“Honestly, I missed having a ute,
so when I saw this chopped 80
Series, I couldn’t pass it up. It’s
got wicked solid axles, all the
barwork was already done, the
steel tray, lift, lockers... literally
it was ready to roll off-road as
soon as I had the keys in my
hand.”
Because it was already well
built and modified, there hasn’t
been a whole lot that Jake has
had to do to this weapon of a rig.
