“Most of the modifications were done by MHM Customs when
they did the chop,” Jake says. “The front bar is an older ARB
steel bulbar, which does the job, but the brush bars and sliders
are custom made by MHM and are super tough. MHM also
installed the Ford XR bucket seats in the cab, as well as the
sound system, with the twin subs and amps.”
A couple of the mods that Jake has made to the vehicle since
he bought it include the dual battery with a Redarc BCDC 1225
charger, and the hardwired air compressor and air tank which is
located under the tray an has a connector outlet on the drivers

“Future plans are mostly just to drive it! I love heading to sandy
spots with nice clear water like McBrides, but I can’t pass up
muddy dirt tracks. I love the Wattos, Monkey Gum and Lithgow.
“When it comes to mods, I want to re-gear the diffs and
transfer case to better cope with the 35s, put Elockers in the
front and rear, add a jack-off style alloy canopy with a roof
topper, a water tank and stainless snorkel. I’d also love to convert
the engine to a 1HDT at some point.”
