Dear Editor,

I am currently using Nikon D610 with multiple
Nikon lens.

I am looking to change the body. My budget is
around `1.50 lakh and want to continue with Nikon
brand only as I will be able to use the existing lens.
But today I read about the new Mirrorless Nikon Z6.
Should I wait and move to this, hoping the camera
mount will let me use the current set of lenses I
own? Or should I buy the D750?

Kindly advise.

Gaurav

Dear Gaurav,

Firstly I think we saw your email late since we had
a lot of archives to go through. Assuming that you
have already made the decision regarding your next
camera. But in case you haven’t or even if you have, it
is always helpful for the other readers who might have
similar questions.

Personally, I have always been a fan of new
technology, all the more since it is really moving at
a fast pace in recent years. So, if I were you then I
would invest in the newer mirrorless cameras since
DSLRs are going to go out of fashion very soon. As
for the lenses that you already have, yes they will be
compatible albeit with some crop, which there is no
way of circumventing. But all in all it will still be a
win-win for you for the future.
