The cameras feature the PDAF technology which is used by
Canon and also toggles between CAF and Laser AF depending
on the available shooting conditions. The overall camera rating
for the OnePlus 7 Pro is 111 in the DXO Mark website. The
front facing selfie camera is a 16-megapixel F/2 camera which
pops out to shoot and also features an intelligent drop sensing
technology.
The phone comes in three colours with the new Nebula
Blue easily looking the best amongst all. While the back is still
not glass, which means it doesn’t support wireless charging, it
is surely a slip magnet. So if you intend to buy the phone then
make sure you get a good cover to use it with or else you will
find it slipping out of your hands and pockets often.
The other bells and whistles such as the buttons continue to
remain the same with the headphone jack once again missing
from the phone. I know many users find that cumbersome, but
honestly I moved onto wireless headphones a longtime back,
so for me this really isn’t a challenge.
In terms of the user interface the Oxygen OS, which is as
close as you can get to stock Android feels really fast and
small tweaks and animations makes for a refreshing change.
Like the small animation when you toggle the phone in/out of
Airplane Mode or the tiny dot that slides left to right when you
toggle the screens left or right. And with the new Quad HD+
display featuring 516 ppi and a 90 Hz refresh rate, which in
many cases is even better than a lot of 4K smart TVs these
days, the combination of the high-end specs and OS works
