(^07) l ove me Some Blue By Frani Smith
Frani tells us, “This is a photograph of three
blue water drops colliding. I used a little bit
of dark blue and turquoise acrylic paint to
colour the two separate water containers
and positioned six Canon Speedlites (all set
to 1/128th power) around the sides of the
container to catch the collision.”

(^08) Bound For the night By Paula
“The blue gondolas in Venice are amazingly
photogenic and I used a slow shutter speed
of 8 secs to capture a bit of motion in them
as they bobbed up and down in the water.”
We love how the blue tones compliment
the silvery sky.

“It was late March and I was searching
for mallards to photograph and I was
surprised to hear the call of a kingfisher.
It was fantastic to get so close, so I hid
behind a bush to take this shot.”
