hen debating what new phone to get, the quality of the camera is
often high on the list of every buyer’s must-have features. With
so many phones on the market boasting similar screens, battery
life and processors, the ability to take a good picture could make or break a
purchase decision. With camera technology reaching the point that any
more megapixels would be a waste, extra features are becoming
increasingly important to smartphone manufacturers trying to stand out
from the crowd. The mid-range market seems to be rapidly becoming the
main battle ground. While the higher end of the market is occupied with

dedicated fans of brands and the lower end with those who mostly just
want a functional phone, the mid-range market is full of users looking for
particular features without breaking the bank. With this in mind, we’ve
decided to test four of the leading mid-range phones that pride themselves
on their cameras to see which is best. The Samsung K Zoom is able to
draw on Samsung’s dedicated digital camera division, but HTC are
critically-acclaimed for their camera featues. The LG G3 boasts a laser-
