take second preference to Gmail
for most people, but if you want
to use a non-Google account it
works well. Add your account to
the app after fi rst deleting it from
your device and then look
carefully at the setup screens as
you progress. You should see the
Account options screen that
includes a Period to sync Email
option. Tap this and then choose
A ll if you want all of your inbox
to display when you use the app.
The problem we see is that this
screen is diffi cult to fi nd, but if
you go to Settings>Manage
accounts, tap your email account
then Sync Settings>Sync
Schedule, you will fi nd what you
need. We advise to delete your

“Hi. I recently upgraded from a HTC One to the
Samsung Galaxy 6. Absolutely love the new phone,
but one thing that drives me mad is the apparent
limitation on the number of emails the phone will
retain. Most of my mail is via Hotmail and the phone
will only display the last few days?” Anthony
It may make sense to think about
removing preloaded apps from your
device to save space, but the reality is
that no space will be saved and reliability
may suffer. Our advice is to use the Hide
feature available on most devices.
