ZEISS Batis 2.8/135 is theƂrst 135mm AF lens for the system.
Like all ZEISS Batis lenses, it’s built with fast and precise
autofocus.
A focal length of 135mm makes the ZEISS Batis 2.8/135
perfect for portrait photography, as the longer teleƃattens
perspective, reducing distortions,ƃattering subjects and
making images look true to life.
The focal length also makes the subject stand out
beautifully against a blurred background, with a fast f/2.8
aperture and the Apo Sonnar optical design delivering
exceptionally pleasing bokeh (background blur). ZEISS
experimented with special types of glass when building
the new lens, ensuring corrected chromatic aberration and
virutally no image errors.
At longer focal lengths, lenses are more suscepticle to
camera shake, but the ZEISS Batis 2.8/135 avoids that with
a built-in optical image stabilizer. In common with all ZEISS
Batis lenses, the 2.8/135 features an OLED display that
precisely visualizes the depth ofƂeld, making sure your
subject is in sharp focus.
The ZEISS Batis 2.8/135 is not only compact, but also
robust, with a durable metal housing. A dust and dirt shield
protects it from poor weather, as well as allows you to go
