STUFF PICKS

Leica Sofort
Richard Purvis, Production Editor

The Sofort is a different kind of stylish to Leica’s
usual wallet-plunderers, at a different kind of price.
It offers more control over settings than the average
insta-printer, and takes pictures that sometimes
come out stunningly atmospheric... and sometimes
come out like you’ve accidentally hit the shutter
while falling out of a kayak. It’s hit and miss, yes,
but the hits show up all those Instagram
filters for the cheap frauds they are.

PRINTS CHARMING
Available in orange,
white or ‘mint’, this Leica
is chic... but not sleek.
Best clear some space
in that Gucci handbag.

modes include macro,
selfie and – take note,
lo-fi album cover fans

  • double exposure.
