STUFF PICKS

HP Sprocket
Tom Wiggins, Deputy Editor

I don’t need another camera to take more pictures;
my phone’s full of them already. But how to liberate
them from their phablet prison? HP’s Sprocket printer
lets you choose pictures from your camera roll,
Facebook or Instagram, and turn them into
something real –and sticky, if you peel off the
backing – in about 20 seconds. The quality isn’t
great, but it’s a small price to pay for being able
to slap my selfies onto workmates’ backs.

UNDER PRESSURE
You only get 20 sheets
of paper in a £10 pack,
so make every shot
count. They’re 2x3in,
with no annoying
white frame.

LENS DANCE
I picked the Huawei
Mate 9 to pair with the
Sprocket because of
its dual Leica lenses
and optical image
stabilisation.
