The multinomial logit model is built on the independence of irrelevant
alternatives (IIAs) assumptions (Sofoluwe et al., 2011). The Hausman-
McFadden is used for the tests of IIAs. The procedure is to first estimate the
full model with m outcomes. Then, a restricted model is estimated by
eliminating one or more m(s). The test of the difference between the two,
which is asymptotically distributed as chi-square with degrees of freedom
(Roco et al., 2014) equal to the rows in restricted model if IIA, is true.
Significant χ2 values indicate violation of the assumption that the difference
between the two models is not equal to zero (Sofoluwe et al., 2011).

Model Specification
The model specification of the MNL for the study is given as:
