The MCFP is a unique study area for our search for
medicinal agents from tropical plants. We continue to
discover new biological activity and interesting chemi-
cal structures. Our future research efforts will include
other plant families known to contain medicinally
important substances (e.g., Euphorbiaceae, Rutaceae).


We will also screen for antiviral activity and peptide
receptor blocking activity.
