Quest Aircraft Company, manufacturer of the
Kodiak single turboprop utility aircraft, has been
acquired by Setouchi Holdings, a member of the
Japanese Tsuneishi Group.
“Over the last few years, we have experienced
steady growth and with new financial
capitalization and a shared understanding of the
potential opportunities in the marketplace for
expansion, we are looking forward to significant
growth for Quest in the years ahead,”
commented Chief Executive Officer Sam Hill. The
company’s headquarters and manufacturing
operations will remain in Idaho, and as
production ramps up it plans to expand both the
facility and staff numbers. The Kodiak is certified
in seventeen countries, with several additional
approvals imminent.
