These are the core
activities that not only
ensures CBAA retains its
role as the official voice for
business aviation, but that
CBAA is also engaged with
its members, helping their
businesses become better.
Once we validated
our objectives, we built a
three-year business plan
including key projects, programs and
targets that support the objectives – and
our members – fully. This is not the
entire scope of our effort going forward;
there is much more that we are doing
on a day to day basis. Yet, this summary
will provide our industry – members
and non-members alike – with idea of
our roadmap. We know where we are
heading and how to get there.
This is a new, and in my opinion,
better way for the CBAA to approach
its work: with more transparency,more accountability and
greater commitment to
building clear value for our
members.
I, and all of our
members, owe a debt of
gratitude to the CBAA
directors, who took time
from their own affairs to
delve into the who/what/
where/why and how of the
CBAA. Their belief in the association,
and its importance to our community
was not only inspirational, but it was our
reality-check. We’re not following the
Ottawa-centric world view. CBAA is
being directed by what matters to you.
Our business plan will continue
to evolve and change, based on our
members’ needs and ideas. I look
forward to working with you to ensure
that the CBAA makes a positive and
