Aircraft Assessing Company (AAC) was
formed in 1998 in response to a growing
need from the South African aviation financing
industry for unbiased and objective evaluations
of fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft that they
were being asked to finance.
Whilst financial institutions were AAC’s
initial focus, its client-base has grown to include
local, regional and international aircraft fleet
owners and operators, airlines, government
agencies, insurers, corporations, individual
owners and other interested parties.
Aircraft Assessing Company provides
certified appraisals to USPAP (Uniform
Standards for Professional Appraisal Practice)
standards by its owner and Senior Certified

who is well experienced as an Appraiser of
narrow body airliners, heavy lift helicopters,
NTCA and everything in between. In addition,
AAC provides a broad range of technical
services and appraisal. In addition to certified
appraisals, these services include pre-, mid-
and post-lease assessment of aircraft, aircraft
and aircraft equipment acquisition and disposal,
maintenance record and logbook audits,
maintenance oversight and cost review as
well insurance loss adjusting and post repairassessments.
