Gemair was started in 2007 by Andries
Venter, a South African Air Force trained
engineer with twenty years of aviation
maintenance experience. Gemair now provides
a great level of friendly personalised service.
Andries Venter is very knowledgeable
about aircraft and will happily advise potential
buyers on buying and selling planes. He also
specialises in doing pre-purchase inspections.
Since relocating to Lanseria Internationalin 2009, the company has continued to grow
and looks after the maintenance needs of a full
range of privately owned, training and charter
operated aircraft. These range from Non-Type
Certified Aircraft through light singles and twins
and on to turbo-props and light jets.
Gemair is an SACAA Approved
Maintenance Organisation, AMO number 1003,
and has a team of nine full-time engineers
who together have a combined total of over 50
years of aviation experience. Backed up by the
full-time administrative staff, Gemair are able to
