Turbine Engine Management Services
(TEMS) provides general aviation consulting
plus aircraft operational and turbine engine
maintenance expertise for the small to medium
aircraft market. Specializing in all Pratt &
Whitney Canada turbine engines, Turbine
Engine Management Services provides the
knowledge, technical expertise and resources of
a full time aviation staff without the expense.
Our commercial services include, turbine
engine repair and overhaul management,
where they provide technical and commercial
expertise for hire to guard client interests
through the often complex, expensive and
time consuming process of turbine engine
repairs and overhauls. TEMS also assists with
turbine engine commercial disputes, insurance
claims, warranty claims, engine and component
investigations, ADAS support, legal assistance
and expert witness representation.
TEMS are an SACAA approved AMO
for borescope inspection services, mostly for
P&WC engines but they also perform engine
appraisals for all other small to medium
turbine engines and APUs. They utilise the
latest borescope equipment and coupled with
extensive experience in both turbine line and
overhaul level maintenance, are able to offer
detailed, accurate and independent borescope
inspections. This includes a comprehensive
report detailing the inspection findings with
embedded photographs and an engine
condition summary.

Wellco Air was founded in 1979 at Lanseria
by Peter Hartwell, who trained originally at
Comair at Rand Airport. Peter has been at
Lanseria almost since the day it opened in
1975.
Wellco is a fixed wing piston and turbine
AMO with approvals for all groups up to 5,700
kg, including the Shorts Skyvan. While the
company specialises in piston aircraft, it is
also approved for PT-6 and Honeywell Garrett
TPE331 engines. When Nationwide Airlines
operated King Airs, Wellco was entrusted with
that company’s maintenance.
Wellco has moved from the north side of
Lanseria – it can be found in Hangar 107B
through Gate 13 South Side Lanseria.
